Three doors into the same work

The distinctions below are about where you are, not about different methods. Sessions run 60 minutes by video, usually every two weeks, in English, German or French. Most engagements run three to six months, long enough for something to change and short enough to stay urgent.

Executive and leadership

When the role gets bigger than the playbook

For leaders carrying real accountability who need somewhere to think that is not their team, their boss or their partner.

We work on the things that do not fit into a performance review: how you make decisions under pressure, the relationships costing you most, the gap between how you are experienced and how you intend to be, and what kind of leader you are actually trying to become.

Usual starting points: a step up into an executive role, a team that is not performing and you cannot yet say why, a working relationship that has calcified, a strategy you believe in but cannot get others to carry.

I led teams through a company being acquired, through reorganisations that changed the rules mid-year, and through targets I was not sure we would hit. I know what it costs to hold a team steady while you are privately unsure yourself.

Career

When the next step is yours to choose

For people at a hinge point who want to choose deliberately rather than react.

We look at what your career has actually been built on, which parts you want to keep, and what a next chapter could contain. This is slower and more honest than a CV rewrite. It usually involves saying something out loud that you have been avoiding.

Usual starting points: a redundancy, a role that has quietly stopped fitting, a move between countries or sectors, the question of going independent, the long approach to what comes after full-time work.

I made this decision myself, at fifty-five, after two decades I was good at. I know the difference between the version of the reasoning you give other people and the one you have when you are awake at four in the morning.

Health and wellbeing

When the pace has outgrown the body running it

For people whose working life has outgrown the way they are looking after themselves.

Energy, sleep, movement, boundaries and recovery are leadership infrastructure. When they go, judgement goes with them. We build habits that survive a difficult quarter, and we stay specific: what you will do, when, and what will get in the way.

I have been on the other side of this. Burnout, and later the physical reality of menopause, taught me that the body keeps its own accounts and eventually presents the bill. That experience is why this is a coaching stream and not an afterthought.

This is coaching, not clinical care. If something needs a doctor or a therapist, I will say so.

Working together

Simple to start, structured to last

1. Chemistry session

A free, unhurried thirty minutes. Bring your scepticism. I would rather work with it than around it.

2. Foundations

We set clear goals and design your engagement, typically three to six months of bi-weekly sessions.

3. Ongoing coaching

Honest sessions, deliberate experiments between them, and course corrections as life happens.

Fees

Coaching is priced per engagement rather than per session, so we are both thinking about the outcome instead of the clock.

Engagements start at €1,400 (about £1,200) for six sessions over three months, and most people take nine. We agree the shape in the chemistry session, once we both know what the work is.

Invoicing in EUR, GBP or SGD.

Organisations commissioning coaching for their leaders are invoiced directly, and a rate card is available on request.

I keep a small number of reduced-rate places for people between roles. Ask me.
